Hey, I'm Syed Zayed Ahmed. My journey started with curiosity about how websites work and how developers turn designs into fully functional applications. That curiosity turned into practice when I began my frontend journey with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, learning from Jonas Schmedtmann on Udemy. Watching a plain layout come to life was fascinating and motivating.
Over time, I expanded my skills into React and modern frontend technologies like TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and Next.js. As I gained confidence, I moved into backend development, mastering Node.js, Prisma ORM, PostgreSQL, and cloud integrations with Neon. This progression allowed me to build complete full-stack applications with authentication, databases, and seamless front-to-back connectivity.
Some of my projects include Auriora, a travel planner web app built with Next.js, React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, Auth.js for authentication, Neon + Prisma for the database, UploadThing for image uploads, and Resend for email functionality. I've also built smart home and health-monitoring systems integrating IoT devices, Firebase, and real-time dashboards. These projects highlight my ability to handle end-to-end development from UI to backend logic and cloud integration.
I love exploring new technologies, building projects that solve real problems, and continuously improving my skills. I'm always eager to take on challenges that expand my expertise in full-stack development and web applications.
Outside of coding, I'm a content creator on Instagram, enjoy photography, video editing, playing chess, and exploring visual storytelling. Traveling and experiencing new cultures keeps me inspired and fuels my creativity in both tech and life.
So that's me — from curiosity to full-stack development, with a growing portfolio of projects, and I'm just getting started.
